Content of the monthly workshops

Welcome to our pottery workshops, where you'll discover the fundamental techniques for creating beautiful ceramic pieces. During three cozy evenings, you'll delve into the art of different hand-modeling techniques and learn the basics of ceramic glazing, gaining the skills you need to craft your own creations. 

Each monthly workshop is divided into 3 Thursdays from 6:30 pm until 9 pm. In the first session, you will learn the intricacies of pinching, coiling, and slab making. In the second session, you get to work on more pieces and learn how to smooth and trim your pieces to prepare them for the first firing. In the third session, you will have the chance to paint or glaze your masterpieces so they are ready for the last firing. No experience is necessary to attend these workshops.

More Information

Our workshops are conducted in English. You can reschedule up to two weeks in advance; however, all bookings are non-refundable. Due to the limited capacity of our workshops, we cannot accommodate students who wish to make up missed sessions at alternative times. Additionally, please be aware that a dog may be present during the workshops.

After completing the workshops, your finished piece will be available for pickup 4 weeks later. Please note that the pieces will be stored for a maximum of 6 months. The studio is not liable for any damage to ceramics, as cracks or damage may occur during the drying or firing process. Any damages caused by a lack of attention during the workshop will be invoiced. Participants in the workshops are required to have liability insurance.
